 CAD Technician i

The CAD Technician I position will create AutoCAD shop drawings, submittals and digital template files.Ensure that anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation and operation are resolved by the drawings produced. Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy, and compliance to standards and work with senior level CAD technicians and CAD & Template Manager to review final product.

Required Education and Experience

  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2000 or higher.

  • Ability to read blueprints/takeoffs/template notes.

  • Ability to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch with accuracy and precision.

  • Strong math skills.

  • 1+ years of CAD experience.

  • Experience working in construction or interior design field.

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Engineering or related field.

  • Designation or certification from recognized CAD training facility.

  • Valid drivers license

Fabricator/installer

The Fabricator /installer is responsible for cutting and finishing solid surface countertops and installation of the solid surface , quartz, granite and concrete countertops, wall coverings, showers and more.

The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

The employee is required to stand; walk; push; pull; bend; talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Individuals must have the ability to lift a minimum of 100lbs on a regular basis.

Required Education and Experience

  • Good communication skills

  • High attention to detail and the ability to exercise good judgment

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to read and follow job plans and instructions (CADs and blueprints)

  • Ability to use and read a tape measure to the 16thof an inch with accuracy and precision

  • Valid drivers license

Preferred But not Necessary Education and Experience

  • Handheld polisher and basic hand tools

  • High school diploma

  • General carpentry knowledge or experience
